CARE Breakthrough Research Program Grant Opportunity Launched

The CARE Fund has launched the Breakthrough Research Grant Program. The Program seeks to provide seed funding for innovative, cross-disciplinary research and collaborations that aim to find the next big discovery in the cancer research field. CARE intends to match, dollar-for-dollar, contributions of research groups, partnerships, or collaborations aimed at solving critical challenges in cancer research, allowing them to more rapidly pursue their best ideas. Successful grantees will be eligible to receive up to $750,000 in the first year and up to $3 million per year over the next 4 years. More information on the Breakthrough Research Program, including a Program Description and Letter of Interest Template, can be found here.

CARE will accept Breakthrough Research Program Letters of Interest through March 9, 2018. Only invited applicants will have an opportunity to submit a full proposal application.

Please contact Peter Choi (peter@empirehealthfoundation.org) for questions regarding the program or application.
