CARE Fund Announces Distinguished Researchers Cycle 5 RFP
The CARE Fund is reissuing its Request for Proposals (RFP) for the Distinguished Researchers Program Cycle 5. No awards were granted for the initial cycle (announced 9/30/20) of the program.
The Distinguished Researchers Program aims to bolster cancer research in Washington by providing matching funds (up to $500,000 per award) to Washington institutions and companies to recruit best-in-class talent to Washington State and support newly recruited researchers to lead advances in addressing disparities in cancer care access and outcomes. Institutions can submit applications for the recruitment of established investigators or early career investigators. The complete RFP can be found on the Distinguished Researchers Program page. The letter of intent is due July 21, 2021, 5:00 p.m. (PT). Upon approval of the LOI, applicants will be invited to submit a full application. The application closes on September 8, 2021, 5:00 p.m. (PT).
