The Andy Hill Cancer Research Endowment (CARE) is pleased to award individual grants of $500,000 to two new CARE Fund Distinguished Researchers, who were recruited by the Institute for Systems Biology and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center. Awardees include: Dr. Wei Wei an established scientist of high regard whose research holds high potential for strong workforce development opportunities and biotech advancements in Washington; and Dr. Lucas Sullivan, whose innovative research into the role of amino acid metabolism in cancer biology is of high significance.
